Vintec Laboratories Ltd has won a contract with Pinewood Studios to deliver all their asbestos testing and surveying.
Pinewood Studios Group were seeking to replace their existing asbestos survey data at their prestigious Pinewood and Shepperton Studio sites with a new management survey that meets the revised requirements of the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012 and HSG 264 ‘Asbestos: The Survey Guide’.
The survey data is to form the basis of an electronic asbestos management system that can be used by Pinewood Studios Group to monitor and manage all asbestos containing materials across their two sites. The management system will be capable of recording historical asbestos data so it can become a ‘one stop shop’ for all Pinewood Studios Group’s asbestos records.
